JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) – After dealing with injuries most of the season, Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson insists he’s healthy again.
That’s good news for the Wolverines (7-5) and bad news for No. 21 Mississippi State (8-4). Though it might not have any impact on Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez’s future.
Robinson is clearly the headline act in the Gator Bowl on Saturday. His health is paramount, too, especially since backup quarterback Tate Forcier was ruled academically ineligible Thursday. The Wolverines sent Forcier back to Ann Arbor, Mich., leaving the team with no experienced quarterbacks behind Robinson.
Rodriguez, whose future will be determined after the game, says his plan is to have Robinson play “every snap on offense.”
