STORRS, Conn. (AP) – Randy Edsall says he likes his job at Connecticut and plans to stay as long as it remains fun.
Edsall has been mentioned as a candidate for numerous other major coaching jobs, including recent vacancies at Florida and Miami.
But, he says the “grass isn’t always greener.”
Edsall who has brought the Huskies from a Division I-AA program to this year’s Fiesta Bowl, said the program feels like one of his children.
After 12 years, he says there are still two goals on his list at UConn – winning a BCS bowl game and winning a national championship.
He says the program is not at its destination yet, but has been on an incredible journey.
