LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) -Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh has won the Outland Trophy honoring the nation’s best interior lineman.
Suh accepted the award at the annual college football awards at Disney World on Thursday night. He also won the Chuck Bednarik Award honoring the nation’s best defensive player earlier in the night.
He previously won the Lombardi Award as the nation’s top lineman and Bronko Nagurski Trophy as the nation’s top defensive player.
The defensive lineman put on his best performance of the year against No. 2 Texas in the Big 12 title game. He matched his career high with 12 tackles and had 4 1/2 sacks as the Cornhuskers nearly upset the Longhorns.
Suh has led the Huskers in tackles two years in a row, with 50 of his 82 this season unassisted.
