LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -It'll be the same state, but a different bowl for the Kentucky football team.
The Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn., announced Sunday that the Wildcats have agreed to play Conference USA champion East Carolina in the 50th game in the bowl's history. The game will be held Jan. 2.
It's the third straight year Kentucky has been to a bowl. The last two years, the Wildcats beat ACC opponents in the Music City Bowl in Nashville, Tenn.
