BOSTON (AP) - Steve Addazio says coaching at Boston College is his dream job.
The Connecticut native was hired on Tuesday to replace Frank Spaziani. He takes over a program that finished last in the Atlantic Coast Conference last season.
Addazio was the coach at Temple. He left after two years to return to New England. He had also been an assistant coach at Florida and Notre Dame.
Addazio was introduced at a news conference on Wednesday. He wandered around behind the podium, waving his hands around as he spoke. Athletic director Brad Bates said Addazio's enthusiasm was one of the things that helped sell him on the job.
