TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -Florida State University police are wrapping up their report on a campus fight last week involving at least five football players and some members of a fraternity.
The state attorney’s office will review the findings of the eight-day investigation and make a decision on whether arrests are forthcoming.
Maj. Jim Russell of the Florida State University Police said Friday the report includes statements from more than two dozen witnesses, but so far does not identify who threw a chair that injured an innocent bystander.
Coach Bobby Bowden said the five players he suspended last week for their involvement will play at Maryland on Saturday. The Seminoles must win to have any chance of qualifying for the Atlantic Coast Conference title game.
