FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -Arkansas cornerback Ramon Broadway will likely miss the rest of the season after suffering a dislocated ankle in a win over South Carolina.
Razorbacks’ coach Bobby Petrino disclosed the details Monday.
The senior injured his right ankle while making a tackle on South Carolina receiver Alshon Jeffery in the first quarter of No. 14 Arkansas’ 41-20 win over the Gamecocks. Petrino says Broadway had surgery to insert pins into the ankle on Sunday, and he hasn’t discussed a recovery timetable.
Broadway had started all nine games this season for the Razorbacks (7-2, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) and is sixth on the team with 42 tackles. He also has three interceptions.
Arkansas hosts Texas-El Paso this week.
