CINCINNATI (AP) -Sophomore Zach Collaros made his third straight start for No. 4 Cincinnati, replacing the injured Tony Pike for perhaps the last time.
Collaros was announced as the starter Saturday night against Connecticut, although Pike warmed up and was available to play. Pike had a plate in his non-throwing forearm damaged on Oct. 15, and it had to be replaced. He has been limited in practice the past three weeks.
Collaros led the Bearcats to wins over Louisville and Syracuse, going 41 of 52 for 620 yards and seven touchdowns. Pike might be ready to play next Friday against West Virginia.
