FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – No. 19 Arkansas has a newfound powerhouse at running back and he’s been waiting a while to make it happen.
Kniles (niles) Davis ran for a career-best 176 yards and three touchdowns last week in a 38-24 win over Mississippi. It’s the third straight game the sophomore has set a personal best for Razorbacks (5-2, 2-2 Southeastern Conference) – and the fourth time he’s done so this season.
He’s had to overcome injuries and personal woes to get where he is.
Arkansas hosts Vanderbilt on Saturday.
