PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) – In most weeks, Rutgers coach Greg Schiano would bristle at any questions suggesting a quarterback controversy.
But given all that’s happened since the paralyzing injury to defensive tackle Eric LeGrand on Oct. 16, Schiano seemed relieved Wednesday when the focus returned to football matters again.
With the team not playing again until Nov. 3 at South Florida, the big question is who will be the Scarlet Knights’ starting quarterback.
Freshman Chas Dodd has started the past three games, winning two, after an injury to sophomore Tom Savage.
Schiano says he won’t make up his mind until Saturday when preparations for the South Florida game begin in earnest.
