LOS ANGELES (AP) – UCLA quarterback Kevin Prince will miss the rest of the season after arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Prince had surgery Saturday to repair the meniscus in his knee, which has bothered him since last month’s upset win at Texas.
A school spokesman said Prince also underwent a microfracture procedure to stimulate cartilage growth in his knee.
Prince missed two of the Bruins’ last three games before getting surgery. He has struggled throughout his sophomore season, completing less than 45 percent of his passes for just 384 yards and three touchdowns with five interceptions.
Richard Brehaut, who started the Bruins’ blowout loss at Oregon on Thursday, is expected to take over for Prince.
