COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) – Oklahoma defensive back Quinton Carter has been taken to the locker room, shortly after being hurt on a hard hit that separated Missouri’s T.J. Moe from the ball on an incomplete pass.
There was no immediate word from the Sooners on the specifics of Carter’s injury.
Carter was down for several minutes after the play, ruled a fumble but overturned on replay late in the third quarter Saturday night against Missouri. He was surrounded by medical personnel on the sideline before walking to the locker room.
Carter, a senior, has two interceptions, a fumble recovery and three pass deflections.
