NEW YORK (AP) -Josue Paul took a reverse 82 yards for the clinching touchdown late in the fourth quarter, and Central Connecticut beat Wagner 21-13 on Saturday.
The Blue Devils (5-2, 3-0 Northeast 10) built a 14-0 lead on quarterback Aubrey Norris' 1-yard run early in the second quarter, and a 13-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Holmes to Jermaine Roberts midway through the third.
Jason Butler rushed for 108 yards on 26 carries, giving him 100 yards or more in all seven games, and his two fourth quarter TDs got the Seahawks (5-2, 3-1) within striking distance.
The first touchdown with 10:48 to go cut the lead to 14-7, and Butler's 3-yard run with 5:24 to go made it 14-13. But the conversion failed and Central Connecticut put it away on Paul's run on third-and 12.
