 GREENVALE, N.Y. (AP) -Steve Armstrong threw three touchdown passes and Jerome Freeman ran for 216 yards, leading Southern Connecticut to a 42-17 victory over C.W. Post on Saturday.
Armstrong was 18-of-24 for 273 yards, with two of the touchdown passes going to Jonathan Lee.
Freeman carried 33 times for the Owls (5-3, 4-2 Northeast 10), including touchdown runs of 18 and 24 yards.
Nick Georgette threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Adamic for the Pioneers (3-4, 3-3). Georgette finished 10-of-15 for 145 yards.
