STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -Baylor freshman quarterback Robert Griffin set a Bowl Subdivision record on Saturday for the most pass attempts to start a career without an interception.
Griffin was 6 of 13 for 72 yards in the first half of the Bears’ game at Oklahoma State, extending his streak of passes without an interception to 141.
Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy set the former record of 138 during his freshman season in 1986. Gundy is now in his fourth season as the Cowboys’ coach.
Oklahoma State led Baylor 28-6 at halftime.
