Experience: Played quarterback for USC and the Los Angeles Rams. Rhodes Scholar and former TV analyst.
. Tom Jernstedt
Age: 68.
Experience: Former NCAA vice president who oversaw the men's basketball Final Four and selection committee. Worked with NCAA for 38 years.
. Oliver Luck, West Virginia athletic director
Age: 53.
Experience: Former West Virginia and NFL quarterback. Former president of NFL Europe and the Houston Dynamo of MLS.
. Archie Manning
Age: 64.
Experience: Former Mississippi and NFL quarterback. Member of the College Football Hall of Fame. Father of NFL stars Peyton and Eli Manning.
. Tom Osborne
Age: 76.
Experience: One of the most successful coaches in college football history with Nebraska. Won three national titles. Served as a member of Congress for six years and was athletic director at Nebraska.
. Dan Radakovich, Clemson University athletic director.
Age: 54.
Experience: Played football at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Former athletic director at Georgia Tech and American University
. Condoleezza Rice, Stanford University professor
Age: 58.
Experience: Former secretary of state and national security adviser under George W. Bush. Former provost at Stanford, where she is currently a member of the faculty.
. Mike Tranghese
Age: 69.
Experience: Former commissioner of the Big East.
. Steve Wieberg
Age: 59.
Experience: Former college sports reporter for USA Today.
. Tyrone Willingham
Age: 59.
Experience: Former coach of Notre Dame, Stanford and Washington. Played football at Michigan State.
