Western Kentucky overwhelms Austin Peay 45-14 Print

 RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - Senior quarterback T.J. Pryor broke two school passing records while leading Eastern Kentucky to a 45-14 victory over Austin Peay on Saturday.
On the Colonels' first offensive play, Pryor hit Cameron Bailey for an 84-yard touchdown pass. When the Pryor connected with Tyrone Goard for a 28-yard score in the second quarter, it was his 47th touchdown pass, breaking Jim Guice's career record.
Pryor's sixth completion was the 479th of his career, breaking Josh Greco's school record of 478. Two weeks ago in a victory over Tennessee-Martin, Pryor broke the record for career passing yards.
Matt Denham rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and Bailey caught three passes for 125 yards.
Eastern Kentucky (5-2, 3-1 Ohio Valley Conference) amassed 474 total yards against Austin Peay (0-7, 0-5).
The Governors' Jake Ryan passed for 192 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw two interceptions.
