KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Unbeaten and 17th-ranked Kansas has an offense that is, well, historic.
Dezmon Briscoe was the leading pass receiver in Kansas history for about 15 minutes last week.
Then teammate Kerry Meier caught up with him in the second quarter against Iowa State and became the leading pass receiver in Kansas history.
But Meier may not hold the record long. Briscoe has big-play ability and Todd Reesing, the leading passer in Kansas history, flings the ball all over the field.
Reesing is fifth in the country in passing yards, completions and total offense. Briscoe is second in yards receiving and ninth in receptions. Meier is fourth in receptions and 21st in yards receiving.
