Chapman rushes 113 yards to lead Tenn.-Martin 31-21 over Samford Print

 MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) -Don Chapman recorded his 20th career 100-yard rushing game to help University of Tennessee-Martin break into the win column for the first time this season with a 31-21 homecoming victory over Samford Saturday afternoon.
Chapman, the Skyhawks' all-time leading rusher, finished with 113 yards on 24 carries. His 16-yard touchdown early in the third period gave UTM (1-6, 1-3 Ohio Valley Conference) a commanding 31-0 lead.
Dexter Anoka had two short touchdown runs and threw for a third score for the Skyhawks. Anoka kept on scoring plays of one and 11 yards in the first period, and hit Jessie Burton with a 50-yard TD pass late in the second quarter to give UTM a 24-0 intermission advantage.
Anoka was 10-of-17 for 123 yards through the air.
Samford (3-3, 1-2) made things respectable with three touchdowns in the final four minutes.
