STANFORD, Calif. (AP) – Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott says the conference is close to resolving the complicated issues surrounding revenue sharing and a division split after adding Colorado and Utah.
Scott spoke Saturday at Stanford’s football game against Southern California. He says the final decisions will be announced after the presidents and chancellors meet in San Francisco on Oct. 21. The conference’s athletic directors met for two days this week hashing out many of the details.
Scott says the current revenue sharing model which gives schools more money the more times their football teams are televised is antiquated. Resolving the revenue sharing is key to figuring out how to split in divisions.
