DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Duke will be without receiver and kick returner Johnell Barnes, and safety Deondre Singleton for this week's game against Navy.
Coach David Cutcliffe said Sunday that Barnes is out indefinitely with a broken hand, while Singleton has been suspended for the game.
Cutcliffe said Singleton left campus early and without permission during the Blue Devils' off week, and missed two academic obligations.
Singleton has 14 tackles and a forced fumble for Duke (3-2), while Barnes has five catches for 107 yards and has averaged 20 yards on 10 kickoff returns.
