LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says he's trying to reach Missouri coach Gary Pinkel to discuss Chase Daniel's comments about the Cornhuskers being a dirty team.
The Tigers star quarterback said a Nebraska player spit on him before Saturday night's game, which Missouri won 52-17.
Pelini said Sunday he watched video of the game and saw nothing out of line. He said he would investigate further, adding that it would ``unacceptable'' if Daniel's accusation were true.
