MIAMI (AP) -Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles may have broken his left shoulder blade in the Sooners’ 21-20 loss to Miami on Saturday night.
Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said that was the preliminary diagnosis, and if confirmed, the Sooners will be without Broyles – who also returns punts – for up to six weeks.
Broyles will be reevaluated in Oklahoma on Sunday, Stoops said.
The Sooners played again Saturday without reigning Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford, still sidelined with an injured right shoulder.
