STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) -Penn State linebacker Sean Lee says his sprained left knee is feeling better but he hasn’t returned to the practice field.
Lee says he is rehabbing every day, and that he’s just started jogging again.
It’s up to the team doctor to determine whether Lee will be ready for the No. 15 Nittany Lions’ next game, Saturday at Illinois.
The team captain was hurt during a Sept. 19 win against Temple. Lee came out in uniform for last weekend’s loss to Iowa wearing a black knee brace but never entered the game.
Lee, a top college linebacker who has been plagued by knee injuries, says he will likely need to keep the brace on the rest of the season, whenever he does return. He missed the 2008 season with a right knee injury.
