HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. (AP) -Guilford's Josh Vogelbach set three Division III career passing records in a 35-14 loss at Hampden-Sydney on Saturday.
Vogelbach, who was 40-of-59 for 383 yards, set career marks with his 1,037th completion, 1,721st attempt and 24th 300-yard game.
He surpassed the previous completion mark of 1,012, set nine years ago by Justin Peery of Westminster, Mo. Kirk Baumgartner of Wisconsin-Stevens Point attempted 1,696 passes from 1986-89, and had 23 300-yard games.
