IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -Last week’s loss at No. 14 Arizona was a deflating blow for Iowa. Many believed the Hawkeyes had a chance to go farther than any team in school history.
The truth is, Iowa (2-1) could still make 2010 a year to remember.
The 18th-ranked Hawkeyes get their first chance to bounce back when they host Ball State (1-2) on Saturday. It’s the Hawkeyes final non-conference tuneup for Big Ten play.
Ball State is a four-touchdown underdog. The Cardinals are coming off losses to Liberty and Purdue.
