BOISE, Idaho (AP) -After a few days of practicing on their fake blue field in Corvallis, No. 24 Oregon State now gets to test out the real thing.
The Beavers and the vaunted duo of Jacquizz and James Rodgers come to Boise State on Saturday night looking to upset the third-ranked Broncos and end their regular season home win streak at 56 games.
To do so, Oregon State’s defense that was chewed up in its first two games must figure out a way to control Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore. Last week, Moore directed a Boise State offense that rolled up 648 yards on Wyoming.
For the Broncos, Saturday is their last chance at an impressive, resume-boosting victory until November. Boise State’s schedule hits a significant lull for much of October when blowouts will be expected.
