STORRS, Conn. (AP) -Connecticut running back Jordan Todman, who is averaging almost 150 yards rushing, will miss Saturday’s game against Buffalo with an arm injury.
Todman injured his left arm during last week’s 30-16 loss to Temple, but finished the game with an arm brace, rushing for 192 yards.
Todman was listed as “out” Thursday on the team’s injury report, the only time during the week the Huskies announce injuries. The school did not say how many games Todman might miss.
Todman has 448 yards rushing, fourth best in the nation and is averaging more than 7 yards per carry for UConn (1-2).
D.J. Shoemate, a junior transfer from Southern California, and junior Robbie Frey are expected to fill in for Todman.
