RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – Jacoby Brissett passed for 195 yards and three touchdowns to help North Carolina State blank Presbyterian 42-0 on Saturday night.
Matt Dayes ran for a 68-yard touchdown and had a touchdown catch for the Wolfpack, who moved to 4-0 for the first time since 2010.
N.C. State has scored more than 38 points in three consecutive games for the first time since a four-game stretch that covered its final two games of 1972 and its first two games of 1973.
The Wolfpack seized control with a pair of touchdowns late in the second quarter, and they scored on the first play of the second half on a 65-yard pass from Brissett to Bryan Underwood.
Heys McMath completed 15 of 25 passes for 130 yards for Presbyterian (2-2).
The Blue Hose dropped to 0-8 against Football Bowl Subdivision competition since joining Division I in 2008.
