STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) – Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy says the Cowboys aren’t showing signs of fatigue despite playing until 3:35 a.m. Sunday.
Gundy said Monday that any hangover from the 59-33 win at Tulsa will be long past by the time No. 7 Oklahoma State (3-0) visits No. 8 Texas A&M (2-0) Saturday afternoon in the Big 12 Conference opener.
Weather delays meant the Oklahoma State-Tulsa game didn’t start until 12:15 a.m. Sunday. Many Oklahoma State players didn’t immediately go to sleep after the team arrived home about 6 a.m..
Gundy is keeping the Cowboys on a regular schedule, which included a light practice Sunday night and an off day for the players Monday.
