SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) -Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd was not on the sideline as the second half of the Fighting Irish’s game against Michigan State began.
Floyd, who is second in the nation in receiving yards a game with 160 yards, went to the locker room with what appeared to be a shoulder injury with about 5 minutes left in the half. Floyd was injured when he was hit in the end zone when it appeared he made a touchdown catch but the ball came loose. Trainers on the sideline appeared to be working on his left shoulder.
Floyd had two catches for 38 yards and Michigan State led 17-16 at halftime.
