AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -The NCAA has cleared Texas cornerback Deon Beasley to play for the No. 2 Longhorns against Texas Tech.
The senior missed the first two games while waiting to be declared academically eligible. School officials had said he was in good academic standing with the university.
Still awaiting clearance from the NCAA are sophomore safety Christian Scott and junior wide receiver Brandon Collins.
