TULSA, Okla. (AP) – An approaching storm has forced officials to clear the stands at H.A. Chapman Stadium prior to the scheduled start of No. 8 Oklahoma State at Tulsa.
A message encouraging fans to take shelter on the concourses, at the Reynolds Center basketball arena or in their vehicles was posted on the big screen and a public address announcer instructed fans to leave the seating area.
Increasingly heavy rain moved over the stadium starting about 9:15 p.m. CDT, after fans were asked to leave. The stands were cleared a short time later.
