So coach Urban Meyer isn't even trying.
Meyer says he and his staff will really have to coach hard this week to make sure the Buckeyes (3-0) focus on the game at hand. The Rattlers (1-2), from the Championship Subdivision, a notch below Ohio State, have lost two in a row to Tennessee State and Samford. A&M is getting $900,000 to step up in class in Saturday's game.
Even Ohio State safety Christian Bryant concedes he'd rather be playing a tougher, high-profile opponent that might better prepare the Buckeyes for what lies ahead.
They will try to use the game as a springboard to Big Ten play the following week.
