FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -The game between old Southwest Conference rivals TCU and Baylor comes with an interesting quarterback matchup.
Andy Dalton is the steady senior for the fourth-ranked Horned Frogs. The BCS-busting quarterback is the winningest active FBS quarterback with his 31 victories.
Robert Griffin, the dual-threat sophomore at Baylor making his 15th start, may be the most exciting.
Dalton’s first game was as a redshirt freshman in a 27-0 victory over Baylor in the 2007 season opener. That was the year before coach Art Briles and Griffin got to Baylor.
Griffin gets the chance Saturday to pull off a program-defining victory for Baylor, which hasn’t had a winning season since moving from the old SWC to the Big 12 in 1996.
