CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) -Just about anyone could look at Miami’s offensive numbers from the season-opening win over Florida State and be impressed.
Except, well, the Hurricanes.
Even after scoring 38 points and putting up 476 yards in a Labor Day win over Florida State, the Hurricanes insisted that they made plenty of offensive mistakes in that game. They’ll aim to atone for them Thursday night, when No. 20 Miami hosts No. 14 Georgia Tech, which has won four straight in the series.
