NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford is not expected to need surgery on his sprained right shoulder and the quarterback could play again for Oklahoma in two to four weeks.
Coach Bob Stoops announced the timetable for Bradford’s return after the Sooners’ practice Monday.
Stoops said the Sooners are still awaiting an opinion from one additional doctor, but surgery should not be needed.
Bradford was injured just before halftime of the third-ranked Sooners’ 14-13 loss to No. 20 BYU.
