ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -In a Sept. 1 story about the Appalachian State-Michigan football game, The Associated Press reported that Appalachian State had won 15 straight games, the longest streak in the nation. The winning streak is the longest in Division I football. Grand Valley State, a Division-II team in Michigan, has a 29-game winning streak, and Mount Union, a Division-III program in Ohio, has won 24 consecutive games. |
