CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) -Defensive back Ryan Hill and safety Vaughn Telemaque will not play for Miami on Monday night when the Hurricanes open the season at No. 18 Florida State.
Hill and Telemaque each suffered shoulder injuries in Saturday’s practice, the last formal workout the Hurricanes had before the opener. Each walked off the field with ice strapped to their shoulders, and after examinations by team physicians, were ruled out for Monday’s matchup.
Also out for Miami: defensive end Adewale Ojomo, offensive lineman Cory White, and linebacker Levi Paalua. Defensive end Eric Moncur was upgraded from “out” to “doubtful” with a groin injury.
