ATLANTA (AP) -Georgia starting quarterback Joe Cox has “flu-like symptoms” that have forced him to delay his travel to Oklahoma State for Saturday’s game.
Georgia’s sports information office says Cox did not fly with the No. 13 Bulldogs team Friday but is expected to arrive in Stillwater on Friday night.
Georgia’s statement says Cox did not practice Thursday but is feeling better. There is no information on Cox’s status for the game.
Cox, a senior, is entering his first season as a starter after playing behind Matthew Stafford the last three years.
