COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -Coastal Carolina and Charleston Southern may reschedule their home games Saturday because of Tropical Storm Hanna.
Officials at both schools said any decision about whether to reschedule must be made by Wednesday to give opponents enough time to adjust.
The Chanticleers are scheduled to host Colgate at 7 p.m. Saturday. Coastal Carolina coach David Bennett said officials are considering moving the game to Thursday or Sunday.
The Buccaneers host Wofford at 1:30 p.m. Charleston Southern coach Jay Mills said his bosses hope to make a decision before Wednesday afternoon.
There is still uncertainty about Hanna’s track, but forecasters expect it to strike somewhere in the Southeast by the end of the week.
