WACO, Texas (AP) – Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin isn’t talking about revenge headed into Friday night’s rematch with No. 14 TCU.
The Horned Frogs beat the Bears last season by a score of 45-10.
Griffin says the Bears have a feeling of being ready, not a sense of hype, going into the season opener in Waco.
Baylor is coming off its first winning season since 1995. Rose Bowl champion TCU was 13-0 and has won 25 consecutive regular-season games.
TCU scored touchdowns on its first five drives against Baylor last year. Frogs coach Gary Patterson says that was “a big surprise” and he doesn’t expect the game to be that way this year.
