STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy says sophomore tight end Jamal Mosley has left the Cowboys’ football team for personal reasons.
Gundy said Tuesday that Mosley has been a good teammate and those in the Oklahoma State program wish him the best. Gundy says he won’t comment further.
Mosley was listed atop the Cowboys’ depth chart this week, meaning he was in line to start for No. 9 Oklahoma State in its season opener Saturday against No. 13 Georgia.
Mosley is from Memphis, Tenn. Last season he played in 11 games, catching five passes for 57 yards. Sophomore Wilson Youman is expected to start at tight end.
