Porter leads Rams over Division I-AA foe Print

 ALBANY, Ga. (AP) -Brian Porter rushed for a 116 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter, to help Albany State beat North Carolina Central 16-10 on Saturday night.
It was Central's first game as a Division I-AA team.
The Golden Rams (1-0) held their lead throughout the entire contest. In the fourth, Albany State took a 10-3 lead on a field goal, then put the game away with 5:43 left by Porter's 60-yard scoring run.
Porter finished with 14 carries for the Rams. Kisan Flakes, who ran for 57 yards, threw for 73 yards and an 8-yard touchdown pass to Nick Kyles in the first quarter.
Stadford Brown, who completed 15-of-29 passes, threw for 139 yards but had three interceptions for the Eagles (0-1). Wayne Blackwell caught six passes for 94 yards, including a 26-yard TD catch with 2:01 left in the game.
