TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Arizona State's players and coaches each have a photo on their locker of someone who has inspired them.
Coach Todd Graham came up with the idea in hopes that seeing someone who sacrificed for them to be in this position will push them to work even harder.
The photos cover a wide range of important people in the players' lives.
The majority of photos are of mothers and quite a few are fathers. There are grandparents and siblings, photos of family members who died. There also are photos of former coaches, girlfriends, one of Jesus Christ.
The players say the photos have brought them closer together, sparked conversations and given them more insight into who their teammates are.
