GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -Urban Meyer is back at Florida, back on the field and seemingly not going anywhere for a long time.
Meyer provided the college football world with plenty of twists and turns over the last eight months, beginning with his abrupt resignation in December, continuing with his about-face the following day and then concluding with his postponed leave of absence and eventual return.
Now, he insists he’s back for good. He feels healthy, looks re-energized and sounds eager to lead the Gators to the Southeastern Conference championship game for the fourth time in five years.
Meyer says he “feel great, especially when I get to see what kind of team we have.”
