NEW ORLEANS (AP) - In a story July 16, The Associated Press reported that Western Kentucky Athletic Director Todd Stewart stated he was not sure how much of an identity WKU had in south-central Kentucky in terms of football, prior to hiring coach Bobby Petrino. Stewart clarified his comment later in the interview, saying he was not sure how much of a football identity WKU had beyond south-central Kentucky before Petrino's arrival.
