THIBODAUX, La. (AP) – Forget trying to get Andrew Luck to utter a word of regret over his decision to delay pro football in favor of one more season at Stanford.
Luck says he still gets numerous questions about his decision to pass up a big NFL payday this year in favor of returning to a college program with a new head coach.
But Luck says finishing school before turning pro remains important to him and that he has a special bond with a Cardinal team that is expected to contend for a Pac-12 title.
Luck spent the past weekend in Louisiana at the Manning Passing Academy. There, he spent time with Peyton Manning, who stayed four years at Tennessee and says he’s proud of Luck for doing the same at Stanford.
