BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) – Running back Stephen Houston has joined the Indiana football program.
The school made the announcement in a news release on Thursday.
The 6-0, 220-pound Houston rushed for 1,082 yards and five touchdowns at Independence (Kan.) Community College in 2010. He averaged 6.6 yards on 165 carries in his only season of action after redshirting in 2009. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
Houston attended Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohio as a senior, where he rushed for 887 yards and scored 11 times. The Little Rock, Ark., native was also a standout hurdler.
