BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) – Former Michigan safety Marvin Robinson has transferred to Ferris State.
The school confirmed Monday that Robinson is enrolled.
Robinson left Michigan in May after playing sparingly for three seasons with the Wolverines. He will be eligible to play this year because Ferris State is an Championship Subdivision program.
The 6-foot-2, 202-pound backup safety and special teams player made nine tackles in 12 games last season. Former Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez recruited Robinson out of Winter Haven, Fla., and he played two years for coach Brady Hoke.
